VIDEOPOST

Video is mostly in english... :) And sorry for the length, quality and the awkward beginning :D

Some things I forgot to say:

-I'm going to a Brad Paisley (a country artist) concert in the end of the fall break! i'm really excited!

-I just realized that the biggest thing I've had to get adjusted to is that I have a sister here! :D Of course in Finland I have a girl as a best friend who's "like a sister to me" but were definitely not very girly. And also I have a big brother and two step brothers so I've gotten used to wrestling, hard rock, video games etc.  and now I'm listening to country music and watching disney movies :D

-I met my AFS liaison for the first time yesterday, and went to the movies with her today! :) She's awesome!

American living

Well hello there!
I'm gonna write this post in English for some reason.. I really want to write this blog only when something happens. Like a trip somewhere. But now my family has been asking for a post about the normal stuff, my everyday life, and in English.. Thanks.. :D My last post was about that ! C'mon.
Well anyway, I haven't done that much. I just enjoy the little things. Like few of the happiest moments I've had here are usually in a car, when the window's open and the radio's on. I just enjoy the warm air outside and the moment ;) And also I love meeting new people, and hanging out. The football games are really exciting, I never really follow the game, I have no idea about the rules, I mostly just talk to people.

I'm really surprised how well I've adjusted to school and stuff. Getting to know people helps sooooo much. Getting friends is really important, and it's awesome to get to know people because they're so amazing :D Having a sleepover , those kinda stuff is so much fun. Talking to people is so important!! I don't know how many times you can say it :D We just need to talk! I like to talk, but here I have to think about what I'm saying, sometimes annoyingly too much.. And I tend to be quiet sometimes because of that. Exchange students usually are quiet and low-key..

Now I'm happy with my schedule at school. I have drawing, theater and that kind of stuff. I love school now :D Although I hate mornings, I hate waking up early and going to school. But when I'm at school, it's different :) I like the teachers at school too. It's weird how the teachers here are like friends to students. Not all of them, but some of them. And I really haven't gotten used to that. In Finland, teachers are... teachers :D My P.E teacher is pretty stereotypical , I think. Blond hair, super white teeth, loves pink ... :D And she calls me Finland, that's my nickname. My grades are also pretty good, I think I had four A:s, one B and an F in math, because I got the progress report before I had done anything in that class :) Oh and one of the weirdest things I've noticed at school, is that there are baby-sitters. Actual baby-sitters, probably for students' babies. I think it's very very weird :D

The temperature here is getting better! It has usually been around 45 degrees (celsius) but now it's around 35-40. I'm okey with that temperature! I heard it's around 6-10 degrees in Finland right now? Wow. I don't miss that yet :D It's pretty awful to be watching football games in that temperature but I just love being in them (as the video shows), and going to eat pizza afterwards and hanging out with some people :) It's been fun! I also was at an AFS pool party, where I met some exchange students and ate, a lot.

I also just skyped with my mom, her cousin and the cousin's daughter. It was nice, but not something to do every week. Every month maybe. You start thinking about stuff what's happening at home and it's just not good for you. Oh well, this post was one of the most boring ones ever, so please give me some interesting ideas :D And I can edit this post later if it's not good. Okkeeyy byebye <3
